Lacto-Fermentation & Beeswax Wraps

  • Forager Crafts 2915 Knox Avenue Los Angeles, CA, 90039 United States (map)

Join us for an in-person, immersive, & delicious workshop where you’ll dive into the art of lacto-fermentation and sustainable living. In the first part of the class, we’ll cover the fundamentals of pickling and guide you through creating your own rainbow jar of seasonal pickles using a variety of fresh produce, herbs, and spices.

In the second part of class, we’ll shift our focus to crafting eco-friendly beeswax wraps. Learn how to make these reusable wraps that are perfect for reducing single-use plastic waste in your kitchen.

By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a jar of delicious seasonal pickles, two reusable beeswax wraps, and the confidence to continue fermenting and wrapping at home. Additionally, we’ll have sourdough starter available for those interested in starting their own sourdough baking journey.

Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your culinary skills, avoid wasting surplus produce, and embracing sustainable crafting!
