L.A. River Foraging Walk & Sun Prints

  • Forager Crafts 2915 Knox Avenue Los Angeles United States (map)

Join us for a delightful morning of foraging and crafting, perfect for all ages! We'll embark on a (0.4-mile) walk to collect plant material suitable for crafting (not for eating).

After our walk, we'll return to the studio to create beautiful sun prints, also known as cyanotypes, using the plant material we gathered. This hands-on activity will teach you about the cyanotype process, an early photographic technique that uses sunlight to create stunning blue prints.

Walking or biking to our location is encouraged, though some on-site and street parking is available. Please dress comfortably for walking, make sure to wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle. This is a great opportunity to connect with nature, learn a new craft, and meet like-minded community members.

Bring your enthusiasm and creativity for a fun and educational urban outdoor adventure!
