Design + Sewing Studio | Half Day

A Little Green Art Studio Summer Camp

This is a morning camp - 9am - 12pm Each Day

Join us for a 5 day design and sewing intensive! In this camp, young designers will explore the world of sketching, fabrics, design and sewing to create a unique garment or small collection. We will start with the basics of threading a sewing machine, and how to sew a beginner friendly project. From there, we will learn about fashion illustration, translating designs into technical sketches, how to cut patterns, how to select the right fabric, and we will end with construction of a unique article of clothing or small collection.

We will focus on creativity, imagination, and finding unique solutions to design challenges. This is a beginner friendly workshop, and will strive for practice over perfection!

Class size is limited to 6 students. Specific instruction will follow the students’ interests. Topics and techniques covered may include zippers, elastic, buttons and button holes, creating ruffles, and more.

• We can offer a full refund up to 31 days before the start of your camp. Within 30 days of camp, there will be no refunds.

• We cannot pro-rate missed days due to vacation or other conflicts.

• Classes are limited to 14 students.

• Masks are optional.
