Join us at Forager for our Collage & Craft Night - a laid-back monthly gathering where artists, makers, and craft enthusiasts of all levels can come together to work on projects, share ideas, and enjoy good company.
We’ll have our craft tables stocked with:
🖍 Collage materials – vintage magazines, patterned papers, ephemera, and more
✂️ Crafting supplies – scissors, glue, paint palettes, and other essentials
🍿 Snacks! Because no creative session is complete without a little fuel
🎶 Chill tunes & a welcoming atmosphere
Whether you're cutting and pasting a new collage, finishing a painting, knitting a scarf, or just in the mood to doodle, bring your project—or just bring yourself! This is a space for creative play, experimentation, and connection, with no pressure to finish or perfect anything. Artists of all levels (or first-timers) are equally welcome.
We encourage you to bring your own drinks (of any kind), and if you have any special materials you’d like to add to the community collage table, feel free to contribute!
This night is all about building community in East LA—creating a welcoming third place beyond home and work where folks can relax, mingle, and make something beautiful together. Come as you are and craft with us!
Park for free in our lot, or bike or walk to us along the LA River Trail!
Workshop Policies:
Please arrive 10 minutes early for your workshop. Workshops start on time. If you are more that 15 minutes late for your class, you may forfeit your chance to take the class.
You may cancel for a refund up to 21 days before the workshop. After that, workshop fees are not refundable or transferable.
We reserve the right cancel or reschedule a workshop with fewer than 4 sign ups. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, you will receive a refund.
Please note that we may take photos during the workshop to use on social media. If you do wish to be photographed, please let the teacher know when you arrive.
If you are sick, please stay home. Call or email to let us know that you are not coming. \
Last minute cancellations are extremely challenging for our guest teachers. Often times, materials have been purchased and meticulously prepared ahead of time. Keep in mind that late cancellations are a financial burden on these very special artists.
Junk Journal Club is a monthly craft-based meetup centered around junk journaling. Since launching in August of last year, we've hosted everything from small workshops with 10 attendees to larger gatherings of 60+ people in the park—and each event has sold out within hours, which speaks volumes about the passion of our community! Along with our in-person events in Los Angeles, we also host virtual meetups and have a large, active Discord server that continues to grow.
