Junk Journal Club’s Spring Fling
with Junk Journal Club
$35
Celebrate spring with Junk Journal Club!
Junk Journal Club will be popping up at Forager Crafts' beautiful workshop space for a spring fling celebration. Each ticket includes a complimentary custom, live watercolor portrait from Art by Elowyn. Typoetica will also be joining us, writing personalized poems for a small fee.
Additionally, it's spring, which means we're all doing our spring cleaning. We will have a take some/leave some trinket table. What counts? Anything — it's a trinket! Bring keychains, patches, magnets, figurines, and other fun bits!
This event is sponsored by everyone's favorite stationery brand, Martina's Tiny Store: crafty, creative goodies to inspire you and bring joy <3 TINYSTORE is a stationery store meets artist brand based in Sydney, Australia. Curated and designed by sentimental crafty girl Martina Calvi and friends, aimed to inspire creativity and bring you joy.
All supplies are provided, but please bring your own journal!
Workshop Policies:
Please arrive 10 minutes early for your workshop. Workshops start on time. If you are more that 15 minutes late for your class, you may forfeit your chance to take the class.
You may cancel for a refund up to 21 days before the workshop. After that, workshop fees are not refundable or transferable.
We reserve the right cancel or reschedule a workshop with fewer than 4 sign ups. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, you will receive a refund.
Please note that we may take photos during the workshop to use on social media. If you do wish to be photographed, please let the teacher know when you arrive.
If you are sick, please stay home. Call or email to let us know that you are not coming. \
Last minute cancellations are extremely challenging for our guest teachers. Often times, materials have been purchased and meticulously prepared ahead of time. Keep in mind that late cancellations are a financial burden on these very special artists.
Junk Journal Club is a monthly craft-based meetup centered around junk journaling. Since launching in August of last year, we've hosted everything from small workshops with 10 attendees to larger gatherings of 60+ people in the park—and each event has sold out within hours, which speaks volumes about the passion of our community! Along with our in-person events in Los Angeles, we also host virtual meetups and have a large, active Discord server that continues to grow.
