Foraged Fruit: A Natural Wine Making Class

With Janne of Ms. Larsen's Botanical Inks

$85

Join us for a hands-on, two-hour workshop exploring the art of making natural wine from locally foraged fruit. We’ll start with an introduction to wild fermentation, discussing how natural yeasts transform fruit into wine and how terroir influences flavor.

You’ll get hands-on experience crushing fresh, foraged fruit and starting your own small-batch fermentation. We’ll also explore the use of locally grown herbs to enhance flavor and aroma, adding unique depth to your wine. As we work, we’ll enjoy a guided tasting of naturally fermented wines, highlighting the nuances of different fruits, fermentation methods, and herbal infusions.

By the end, you'll leave with a home brewing kit, including a fermentation jar, airlock, and instructions to continue the process at home. Come connect with the land, the seasons, and the joy of slow, natural winemaking!
