Upcycled Table Cloth Camp Shirt | Sewing Level II

With Sadye Harvey of Little Green Art Studio

$300 - 2 Part Series

May 17th + 24th

In this workshop, each student will be using a unique vintage tablecloth to cut and sew a crisp, spring ready camp shirt. This is a unisex design, and can be cut to a crop length or full length.

In the first session, we will learn pattern placement, how to utilize decorative elements on fabric, and how to cut a pattern. We will then begin piecing the garment together using a serger and a straight stitch machine. No serger experience necessary!

The second session will be used to complete the garment, including attaching a collar, sewing button holes, and hand sewing buttons.

Students will take home their completed camp shirt, as well as any remaining fabric from their table cloth and a paper pattern in their size to use for future garments. Written sewing instructions will be emailed to each student after class.

Prerequisite: Intro to Sewing or similar experience.

Please reference the size chart below. You will be prompted to select your ideal tablecloth and size at checkout. I will do my best to update the selection as tablecloths become unavailable. Please read the notes on the table cloth images carefully, as some are smaller and will not be suitable for all sizes.
