Give new life to well-loved textiles in our Visible Mending Workshop, where you’ll learn how to transform rips, holes, and worn spots into beautiful, decorative details. This hands-on class is perfect for anyone looking to explore sustainable fashion, hand-stitching, and creative repair techniques.

We’ll provide a fabric bundle, needle, and thread, and our instructor will guide you through a mix of modern and traditional mending techniques, including:

🧵 Decorative sashiko-inspired & modern stitching
🔄 Blending function with design to make repairs an art form
👖 Adapting techniques to different fabrics for a long-lasting mend

You’ll get plenty of practice stitching, on your fabric bundle, but feel free to bring in your own clothing with small defects to work on instead of the fabric bundle—just nothing too precious for a first attempt!

This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in slow fashion, sustainability, and the joy of making something last. No sewing experience necessary - we're happy to meet you where you are for instruction!
