Botanical Eco-Printing on Fabric

  • Forager Crafts 2915 Knox Avenue Los Angeles, CA, 90039 United States (map)

Join us for a hands-on Eco-Printing Workshop, where we’ll explore the natural beauty of flowers and leaves through the art of botanical printing! Using steam, pre-prepped fabric, and carefully selected plant materials, we’ll create one-of-a-kind prints that capture the intricate details and colors of nature.

🍃 Learn the basics of eco-printing and how different plants transfer their pigments onto fabric
🌸 Experiment with flowers and leaves to create organic, naturally dyed patterns
🫖 Use the power of steam to develop and set your prints
🎨 Take home two beautifully printed cotton bandanas, perfect for future sewing projects, wall art, or simply as a keepsake, as well as fabric swatches

This process is a beautiful blend of science and creativity—perfect for anyone interested in sustainable textile arts, nature-inspired design, or simply getting their hands into something creative. No prior experience needed!

All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own foraged leaves and flowers if you'd like to experiment with them.

Please feel free to bring in food & drinks of all kinds - all ages are also welcome! Park for free in our lot, or bike or walk to us along the LA River Trail.

Tickets available at the shop or through Eventbrite here!
